Scores of Ahmadi Muslims in Ghana and other parts of the world started trooping in at Bagh-e-Ahmad, the venue for the Annual Convention of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission for the 2017 convention in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Women, men, young and old including children, in mini and large buses arrived in at the grounds eager to taste the blessing of the convention.
Last year, about 40,000 Ahmadi Muslims converged at the same venue for the anuual convention but the figure is expected go up to about 45,000 this year.
The Jalsa Salana, held annually by Ahmadi Muslim communities in more than 200 countries, including Ghana, was instituted by the Holy founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian of India in 1892.
It is to enable every sincere Ahmadi Muslim to personally experience true religious benefits and the existence of Allah, the All-Living.
