Mr. Nasir Ahmed Bonsu, the Sadr Majlis Ghana, has embarked on a tour of the various regions within the country. On June 2, 2017, the Sadr Sahib started his tour by visiting Lomnava Jama’at of the Kasoa Circuit in the Greater Accra Region. Sadr Sahib paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Lomnava Chief Nii Okugye Aman Musah and his elders after which he visited the Greater Accra Regional Pineapple Farm. Sadr Sahib also visited a pioneer of the town who is an Ahmadi in the person of Mr. Muhammad Sentor.
On June 17, 2017, Mr. Bonsu visited Mamponsem and Kaneshie Jama’ats both under the Abbosey Okai Circuit. On June 18, he visited Tema New town and Kanewu Jama’ats in the Tema Circuit. Throughout his visit, Mr. Nasir Bonsu spoke about our beloved Hudhur’s task to the Majlis of increasing our tajneed at National Ijtemas to 50,000. As the Greater Accra Region is host of the impending National Ijtema, Sadr Sahib urged all members of the region to make it a point to attend the Ijtema to help meet the target. He also urged all members to come with their Majlis uniforms and make the route match a beauty to behold.
The Sadr Sahib expressed dissatisfaction about the level of tarbiyyat of members of the Majlis saying most of the give excuse of work or being busy chasing material things of the world which we will eventually die and leave behind. He said whenever the Khuddam are called to acquire Islamic knowledge, they complain about not having time and when they are called for financial sacrifice, they say they do not have the money. He encouraged members to make time to learn about Islam and Ahmadiyyat so as to benefit themselves and the entire generation.
Regarding financial sacrifice, Sadr Sahib, advised members to ponder over the words in the Holy Qur’an (Chapter 2 verse 246) where Allah says, “Who is it that will lend Allah a goodly loan that He may multiply it for him manifold? He cited the inspirational story of his father, Alhaji Ibrahim B.A Bonsu (the National Tarbiyyat Secretary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Ghana) as an example of sacrificing everything for the cause of Allah.
Qaid Ilaqa, Greater Accra, Mr. Iddris Ninsin took the opportunity to announce the upcoming tarbiyyat classes to be held in Tema from July 30, 2017.
