Story by Mustapha Kofi Amissah, Muhtamim Waqar-e-Amal, MKA Ghana
A two man delegation made up of Mr. Usman Yaw Baidoo (Naib Sadr in-charge of Southern Sector) and Mr. Mustapha Kofi Amissah (Muhtamim Waqar-e-Amal) left the country on Wednesday July 19, on the approval of the Sadr Mulk to represent the Majlis at the just ended National Ijtema of Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Organization in Tanzania.
The Sadr MKA Tanzania together with some members of his Amla received the Ghanaian delegation at the Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar Es Salaam. On arrival, the delegation had the opportunity of meeting the Ameer and Missionary in-charge of Tanzania before his departure to UK for the Jalsa Salana. The Ameer commended the Ghanaian Majlis for honouring the invitation of their Tanzanian brothers and also shared a gist of his stay in Ghana which is the first country he was posted to serve as a missionary after completing Jami’at in the early nineties.
In a meeting with the past Sadran and the National Amla, the Naib Sadr thanked the Tanzanian Majlis for the praises they showered on Ghana Jama’at and also offered a series of advice to the Tanzanian brothers and made it clear to them that, what has kept the Ghanaian Majlis and the entire Jama’at running successfully is the obedience to Khilafat and respect for Authority.
The delegation also paid a visit to the former Ameer and then proceeded to Morogoro where they visited the Regional Headquarters, Jama’at Hospital and School, Missionary Training College and some Markazi missionaries of the Jama’at.
The three-day Ijtema was also graced by delegations from both Uganda and Nigeria. In his fraternal message read on his behalf by the Naib Sadr, the Sadr urged the Tanzanian brothers to be regular in performing Tahajud prayers, devoted to the cause of the Jama’at and remain glued to Khilafat. The delegation presented two MKA Ghana customized polo shirts and some copies of the Khaadim Magazine to the Tanzanian Majlis on behalf of the Ghana Majlis.
By the Grace Almighty Allah, the delegation arrived home safely on Wednesday July 26. In a meeting with the Sadr Mulk Mr. Nasir Ahmad Bonsu, he expressed his profound gratitude to the delegation for representing the Majlis in such a blessed gathering. The delegation wishes to express its profound gratitude to the Sadr MKA Ghana for the blessed opportunity given them and also the Sadr MKA Tanzania and his team for their wonderful reception. May Allah out of His mercies accept our sacrifices. Amen
