Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Greater Accra undertook a cleaning exercise at the national headquarters of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission in Osu on Saturday, June 10, 2017.
The exercise started at exactly 9am with nine Khuddam. The Khuddam on duty were surprised by the Ameer & Missionary-In-Charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission Ghana, Maulvi Mohammed Bin Salih when he joined them during the waqar-e-amal.
The work included distilling of gutters, arranging garden pots at the Ameer’s residence and also conveying sand from the open space to the Ameer’s residence for use at his garden. It ended around 4pm after Asr prayers.
Another waqar-e-amal (dignity of labour) was organised to clean up Bustan-e-Ahmad premises ahead of the Eid-ul Fitr celebration later in the month. It started around 8:30am with 15 people comprising two Khuddam and 13 Atfal (who are students of T. I. Ahmadiyya International School).
The Khuddam and Atfal were engaged in various activities including packaging of tree logs, weeding and sweeping the compound. The program ended around 1:30pm with a total participation of 30 Khuddam and 15 Atfal.
