Story by Hameed Amponsah, MKA Ghana
As the 85th Annual National Convention (Jalsa Salana) of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission Ghana draws nearer, preparations are in earnest to ensure a successful convention. In this light, scores of volunteers have been working over the past eight weeks to put the place in order.
Advanced parties have arrived at Bagh-e-Ahmad, the venue for the Annual convention, to offer their services ahead of the opening. The advanced parties are made up of 100 Khuddam from the Western Region and 55 from the Ashanti Region.
The team leaders entreated their members to work to merit their selection and the investment made during the period of their stay for the Jalsa. They were, however hopeful, that, they would be obedient to the call and discharge whatever duties assigned them diligently.
The Western Regional team was led by Mr. Usman Koomson, the Nazim Waqar-e-Amal, and Ashanti team led Mr. Mahmood Ennin, the Naib Qaid Ilaqa.
