Thousands of Ahmadi faithful have converged at Bagh-e-Ahmad (Garden of Ahmad), the conference ground of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission Ghana at Gomoa Pomadze near Winneba Junction in the Central Region. The three-day event which opens on Thursday, January 4, 2018 and ends on Saturday, January 6, 2018 will be attended by members of the Ahmadiyya community from across all the regions of the country.
The convention is under the theme: Ensuring a Disciplined Society; The Role of Religion.
God-willing, the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Alhaj Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, some Ministers of State, Members of Parliament among other high-ranking government officials are expected to attend. In attendance will be delegates from countries in Africa, Europe, America among others. Brethren from other faiths are also expected to attend. Insha Allah
Jalsa Salana (annual convention) was instituted by the founder of the Ahmadiyya community, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, to enable every sincere individual to personally experience religious benefits and enhance their knowledge.
